Pumpkin Spice Latte (with Win Win Coffee)

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

  • 1 shot (โ‰ˆ 30 mL) of espresso made with Win Win Ethiopian Coffee

  • 200 mL milk (or milk alternative)

  • 30 mL pumpkin purรฉe

  • 15 mL (1 Tbsp) brown sugar (or adjust to sweetness preference)

  • โ…› tsp pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove)

  • Whipped cream (optional)

  • Dash of cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew โ€” Pull a shot of espresso using your Win Win Ethiopian Coffee. Use your usual espresso ratio (e.g. 1:2, if your standard is 18 g in โ†’ 36 g out).

  2. Heat & Mix โ€” In a small saucepan (or steam pitcher), combine the milk, pumpkin purรฉe, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Warm gently over medium heat, whisking to dissolve sugar and fully incorporate the pumpkin. Do not let it boil; heat until ~65-70 ยฐC (150-158 ยฐF).

  3. Froth / Steam โ€” If using an espresso machine with a steam wand, froth/steam the milk mixture until silky texture with microfoam. If you donโ€™t have a steam wand, warm milk mixture and whisk vigorously or use a handheld milk frother.

  4. Combine โ€” Pour the espresso into a cup, then add the pumpkin-spiced milk mixture.

  5. Garnish โ€” Top with whipped cream if desired, and a light dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg.

Tips & Tweaks

  • Strength of espresso: If your espresso is light or weak, consider using a double shot for fuller coffee flavor to balance the sweetness.

  • Spice blend: Adjust the amount of pumpkin pie spice to your preference. Some like more cinnamon, others more nutmeg/ginger.

  • Sweetener: You could experiment with maple syrup instead of brown sugar for a richer flavor.

  • Milk alternatives: Oat milk, almond milk, or soy milk can work โ€” just make sure they froth well.

  • Batch version: Multiply ingredients and keep a spiced pumpkin-milk base in a thermos; when an order comes, brew espresso and combine.
