A delicious pick-me-up for adult gatherings, blending coffee, spirit, and a refreshing mint cream twist.
Suggested Coffee Base
Use Win Win Coffeeβs Signature Blend β it has warm, indulgent notes of chocolate, caramel, and nutmeg, which pair beautifully with the richness of Irish coffee and the mint whipped cream.
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
1 shot (β 30 ml) espresso made with Win Win Signature Blend
1 teaspoon brown sugar (or to taste)
30β45 ml Irish whiskey (optional, for adult version)
ΒΎ cup (180 ml) hot brewed coffee (made from the same blend)
Mint Whipped Cream:
β β’ ΒΌ cup (60 ml) heavy cream
β β’ 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
β β’ Β½ teaspoon mint extract or a few fresh mint leaves, minced
Optional garnish: fresh mint sprig, chocolate shavings
Instructions
Brew coffee & espresso
ββ Pull the espresso shot using Win Win Signature Blend.
ββ Brew hot coffee using the same blend (e.g. drip, pour-over, French press).
Prepare mint whipped cream
ββ Chill your mixing bowl and whisk.
ββ Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
ββ Gently fold in mint extract or minced mint leaves.
Mix base of Irish coffee
ββ In a warmed glass, dissolve the brown sugar with the espresso shot.
ββ Add the hot brewed coffee and the whiskey (if using). Stir gently.
Top & serve
ββ Carefully spoon or pipe the mint whipped cream on top.
ββ Garnish with a mint sprig or chocolate shavings if desired.
ββ Serve immediately while hot.
