Orange Espresso

Orange Espresso Ingredients:

  • 16g of Coffee Beans (Win Win Coffee Birthright/Ethiopia)

  • 180ml of Orange Juice

  • Ice

    Win Win Coffee Ethiopian varietal pairs very well with oranges and other citrus fruits!

Orange Espresso Recipe:

  1. Grind your coffee -grind your coffee beans to a fine grind for your espresso machine (about the texture of flour).

  2. Pull your espresso - pull a double shot espresso (2oz or 60ml).

  3. Pour orange juice - in a glass, add your ice and pour in 180ml of Orange Juice.

  4. Pour your espresso - pour your espresso into your glass and admire the espresso dispersing through the orange juice.

  5. Serve and enjoy!

Tips:

  1. You should use cold orange juice, in addition to the ice, it will help cool down the espresso quicker.

  2. Ensure you give enough time for your Espresso machine to heat up to operational temperature.

  3. It is important to get your espresso dialed correctly. As a poorly extracted shot can make for a powerfully unpleasant bitterness and sourness to this drink.

  4. You could make your own freshly squeezed Orange Juice, in fact I highly recommend you make your own because you’ll get none of that artificial flavor.
