From Farmers to Fintech: Sipping Our Way Through Growth with a Peanut Butter Espresso Martini in Hand

You know that feeling when you take the first sip of something so unexpectedly good, you pause mid-conversation just to let it sink in?

That was me the other night, curled up on the couch, glass in hand, sipping our new Peanut Butter Espresso Martini. It's creamy, bold, a little nutty (kind of like us!), and as I leaned back, I couldn’t help but reflect on how far Win Win Coffee has come.

We’ve gone from humble beginnings, just a few passionate conversations about ethically sourced beans and bold flavors, to being part of PayPal Developer Day in San Jose, rubbing elbows with some of the brightest minds in tech. Wild, right?

And as I sipped and smiled, one thought kept coming back: this is all possible because of the people. Our farmers, our partners, our team, our community, you reading this right now. Every bag of beans we roast, every recipe we invent, every late night brainstorming new blends... it's a win because of you.

☕ From Grounded Roots to Global Conversations

PayPal Dev Day wasn’t your typical coffee crowd, and that’s exactly why we were so excited to be there. It wasn’t just about caffeine, it was about connection.

The event brought together developers from across the country to talk about the future of payments, Web3, and digital currency. Not usually where you'd expect to find a coffee company, but we believe good coffee belongs everywhere people are thinking big and building boldly.

And what do builders need to do their best work? Fuel. Ritual. Comfort. That’s where we come in.

Whether you're coding till midnight or making early morning product calls, coffee is the anchor. And when that cup is sustainably grown, thoughtfully roasted, and paired with your values? That’s a win-win.

🍸 The Story Behind the Peanut Butter Espresso Martini

So, about that drink. It was born from a late-night session at the roastery, equal parts caffeine and creativity. We were playing around with new flavor profiles, and someone joked, “What if Reese’s made coffee?”

Challenge accepted.

What we ended up with is a playful twist on the classic Espresso Martini. The richness of our single-origin espresso cuts through the sweet, salty nuttiness of peanut butter liqueur, while a touch of vanilla adds a smooth, creamy finish. It’s indulgent, surprising, and somehow… nostalgic.

It’s the kind of drink that makes you slow down and appreciate the moment, and that’s exactly what I needed after Dev Day.

🌱 Gratitude, Growth, and What’s Next

This year has been one of incredible growth for Win Win Coffee. But with that growth comes responsibility. We’ve stayed grounded by keeping our relationships with farmers strong, like Joseph, whose family in Uganda has been cultivating Robusta beans for three generations. His story is part of every bag we send out.

We’ve also been lucky to find support in unexpected places, like PayPal, who gave us a platform to share not just our coffee, but our mission. To build a better world through better coffee.

We’re not just selling caffeine. We’re inviting people to experience a new kind of coffee culture, one rooted in community, innovation, and joy.

🔧 Pro Tip: Create Your Own Espresso Martini Ritual

You don’t need a fancy bar setup to enjoy this at home. Here’s how I like to make mine:

Reya’s Peanut Butter Espresso Martini

  • 1 shot fresh espresso (the bolder, the better)

  • 1 oz peanut butter whiskey or liqueur

  • 1 oz vodka

  • ½ oz simple syrup (optional, if you like it sweeter)

  • Ice

Shake vigorously in a cocktail shaker and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with three espresso beans (for health, wealth, and happiness, or so the Italians say).

Make one for yourself, or better yet, someone you love. Then raise a glass to how far you’ve come.

🤎 Let’s Keep Sipping Forward

While we don’t have a comment section on this blog, we’d love to know, what’s your favorite coffee ritual? Got a flavor idea you think we should try next?

Follow us on Instagram @winwincoffee or tag us in your creations. We’re always sipping and scrolling.

Thanks for being on this journey with us. We’re just getting started.

Here’s to bold blends, big ideas, and the power of a well-made cup.
